1. How do I get involved in Women’s Ministry?
Evergreen’s Women’s Ministries provide Bible studies, discipleship and mentorship relationships, fellowship gatherings, mini and annual retreats, and more. Check our current ministry offerings here. Contact the Women’s Ministry office at 918-369-6400 ext. 411.
2. How do I stay connected to women’s ministry news?
1). Visit the Women’s Ministry pages for a complete listing of ministry opportunities. 2.)Join our email list to receive weekly emails from Melissa Meredith, Women’s Ministry Director here. (Be sure to check “Women’s Ministry” under Email lists). 3.) Join our Women’s Facebook page to stay connected to Evergreen women here. 4.) Also, visit the Women’s Ministry Kiosk located under the church library window for flyers and sign-ups for current opportunities.
3. How do I register for studies and events?
Women may register for current offerings either online on the “Women’s Offering” page or at the WM Kisok.

6. Where is the women’s ministry office?
The Women’s Ministry office is located in Annex building, directly behind the main office building and ETC. Melissa Meredith’s office is #125. Women are welcome and encouraged to stop by anytime to pull up a chair and enjoy a cup of coffee from our Keurig, browse our Women’s Ministry resources, and chat with Melissa. To schedule an appointment, contact Melissa.
7. How can I request to serve as a disciple or be discipled?
We want to help teach you the basic tenets of the Christian faith and help you grow in your knowledge and understanding of Scripture. Contact the Women’s Ministry office and we can help pair you with an older or younger woman in the faith.
8. How do I request to serve as a mentor or be mentored?
We want to help women pursue Christlikeness in applying God’s Word to every day living. Contact the Women’s Ministry office for more information. The Grove ministry is our mentoring ministry. Read more about The Grove here.
9. Is childcare provided?
It is our desire to remove any barriers to participation for women. We provide at least one small group Bible study with childcare, as well as evening gatherings and events. Event registration will include a box for childcare when provided. No childcare is provided for mini retreats throughout the year nor at our annual weekend retreat.
10. How much does it cost to participate?
There is no fee for the Bible studies, fellowships, discipleship, or mentoring gatherings. The only expense is for the purchase of spring and fall Bible study workbooks. Special events are priced individually and include a college discount. Scholarships are available upon request.
11. How do I purchase my Bible Study materials?
You may purchase your Bible study materials at the WM Kiosk or on the first day of class. Checks can be made out to “Evergreen Church” with the memo “Women’s Bible Study.” Or, you can pay through the giving kiosk or online. Please mention “Women’s Bible Study” in the notes.
12. Can non-members participate?
Absolutely. Women’s Ministry welcomes everyone to our studies and events.
13. When do you offer Bible studies?
Women’s Ministry meets in the fall from September to November and in the spring from January to April. Occasionally, we will offer summer classes.
14. How can I volunteer to help in Women’s Ministry?
We would love for you to join us and use your spiritual gifts and talents for the benefit of the Body. View our different ministries that you help support here. Then, contact the Women’s Ministry office to get in touch with the Coordinator for that ministry.
